The PORTSIM Output Analyzer project involves the development of output analysis capabilities dealing with large data sets for the efficient representation of military cargo at ports of Debarkation (POD).

The tool provides aggregated data in order to allow the user to determine the average time a piece of cargo spends in specific port areas. The aggregate data is calculated from within the simulation rather than in the output analyzer tool. This technique reduces the analysis time since all the data analysis is performed during the simulation period.

NSU conducted this research in collaboration with the DIESEL group at Old Dominion University 2003 - 2005 and MYMIC LLC. 2005 - 2008.

This work was conducted for TRANSCOM/Army's Surface Deployment and Distribution Command.
